A personal goal tonight was to sit down at the table, after serving taco salads to my family (that I spent 1.25 hours making), feeling HUNGRY…

True. SO often I’m snacking the whole time I’m preparing dinner, nibbling olives, crackers, etc. So that when we all sit down, I don’t even need to eat. Can you relate?

I still do eat, though, because family dinner is one of my favorite parts of the day. Dinnertime is more fun if you’re not full, eh? 🙂 🙂

Sometimes I’m in the studio painting because it keeps me out of the kitchen. It keeps me focused on what I love and what I’m meant to do. In the kitchen I get distracted with my phone (and dishes, cleaning…) and nibbling, and I drive myself crazy. I really need to solve this and am open to any advice you may choose to offer. I only eat between the hours of 11 and 7, generally, but the urge to snack while cooking is a killer.

This week I created this new painting named Golden Silence – you have maybe seen the videos of her painting progress in my IG Stories. Do you know how to watch Instagram Stories? If not, just email me back and I’ll be happy to tell you how.

Also, here is a video of the process of Golden Silence, below.

Golden Silence was so inspiring that on Wednesday I started creating another 10×10 inch painting 😊 I look forward to seeing how SHE progresses! Here she is, so far. More progress will be posted on Friday in IG & FB Stories.

Painting rules supreme ~ when my children are at school, painting is the main focus. The activity that my heart, soul, hands and head REALLY want to partake in. I paint up to 8 hours per day. Standing at the easel, listening to podcasts, music or stories… very happy.

Thank you for following along with my work.

I appreciate the loyalty of my collectors who purchase my paintings, prints and calendars… which allows me to work at home and create even more… leading to 1322 original paintings created since 2006.

1322 paintings in 13 years. That’s cool! Thank you for your support and trust.
