progress on Whimsical Mother ~ seeking happiness

There has been so much loss lately ~ most of it I have learned about virtually and via email, but it is existing in such a heavy form. The stories beg to cut me down, and all of us, I know ~ so recently, standing at my blank canvas, listening to much-needed happy tunes, Whimsical Mother emerged.

I take her as a nice detour from darkness, and I am looking very forward to shedding light on her whimsical details…

She is, obviously, unfinished, but sits in my studio awaiting the time I will spend on her. She will hopefully help to minimize my recent and sometimes deadening distraction ~
