Say hello to little one-of-a-kind 4×4” paintings on heavyweight acid-free paper ~ the outer edge size is 6×6”. I am losing myself in them and am thinking of them as little honest windows into the mother/child connection. I could go on and on…

STARTING Tuesday, February 21 at 10am PST: I am going to be releasing these mini original motherhood paintings out into the world, one per day for 6 days (Only the first 4 are shown, I get to make 2 more!) These mini original paintings are starting out at $49 each and each one comes with a retired KmBerggren studio paint brush. A brush that has served me for months of creating ~ now for you to hold.

The paintings will be released each day at 10am PST until they are gone. I anticipate I’ll create a little collection like this 1-2x per month. Everything is subject to change, though!! That’s the nature of life (and being a mom).

I will send an email with each release – be sure you get the notification by signing up here: www.KmBerggren.com/join.

Upon release, the paintings will be available in the Online Studio Shop.

Here are some process shots of the first four paintings:

Each painting is 4×4” on 6×6” paper ~ original paint on paper, one-of-a-kind, not a reproduction. The painted surface is varnished with UV Protectant varnish.

I even have a picture frame that I think you might like to use to protect and display your painting ~ this is a frame I found on Amazon.com. The frame is 8×8″ on the outer edge and arrives with 2 sizes of window mats for you to choose from. You can choose to use either of the window mats with this painting: the 6×6″ window mat will allow the textured paper of this piece to be featured. The 4×4″ window mat will wrap around just the painted image. I think both would look awesome. Please use acid-free tape when attaching the painting to the mat, or acid-free photo corners.

Fine Print: I am NOT connected with the seller of the above frame on Amazon.com, and your new mini original painting will NOT arrive framed from my studio. Above I have shared a frame that I think you might like to purchase to protect and display your painting. I can’t be held responsible for the frame or the seller of the frame, let me know how it goes though!

Years ago I created a series of chunky 4×4” paintings on canvas (over 80 of them!) ~ they were a LOT of fun! I’ve learned a lot since then and this past fall I have fallen in love with putting paint onto thick paper. There is such a freedom about it ~ paper provides a new range of techniques and textures. I am in love.

Let me know if you have ANY questions at any time.

Thank you for following along with this journey!
Love & Sincerely, Katie
