Black & White Paintings, yes. I have talked on Instagram about ACHING for a new color experience. Blacks, browns, reds and golds were particularly calling to me, to the point I was developing health symptoms (it’s freaky how the mind and body are connected). So, I put everything aside and created these three paintings. They washed out my soul. The process of working on wood is like communing with the trees. The way stretched canvas is like skin & bone… wood panel is like EARTH. Soo healing. Here they are:

Instagram Live is so fun! Yesterday I answered your questions and talked about painting on canvas vs. wood panel. Also about galleries and why I don’t have my paintings in a gallery full-time. You can view the video on my Instagram pageor on your Smart Phone, right above the grid there is a little IGTV icon. Click that and go to the first video on the left. 70 people watched live, it was so fun.

Two of my original paintings just came back from being on display in a gallery in Ohio, you can now access them here and here.

Calendar Orders Ship the 16th Of September!

Your Calendar Pre-Orders help me pay for the publishing and printing of the beautiful 2021 motherhood art calendars – being a self-represented artist, this is really important. I pay for my products myself, and send them out to my people. Maybe I’m a control freak, but I really like knowing my collectors, versus referring them to another shop/gallery to buy my artwork.

Connecting with my people is so important to me (hence the IG Live mentioned above!).

Changes in Pricing. A heads up that I will be adjusting my print prices in the next couple days – I have kept hold of my 2015 prices for as long as I could, despite my expenses for paper, ink, paint, canvases, panels, brushes, varnish, shipping supplies and postage rising year after year.

My hand-signed paper prints are created on premium paper with an 8-ink archival color process. Archival means the colors are rich, vibrant and fade-proof to last a lifetime.

All of my archival paper prints are shipped from my hands in my studio, straight to your hands. I include free art greeting card(s) with every order that leaves my studio (except books via Media Mail: USPS says no inserts). Lately I’ve been including my adorable new stickers, and for 23 weeks now I have given Free Weekly Gifts (valued at $19-22 each) with orders of $39 or more (if you’ve put in promo code KMBWEEKLY).

I value my collectors SO much, and I strive for incredible value in my products and customer service. Let me know if you have any questions and thank you for your continued loyalty and support.

When you shop from this mama-owned small business, you allow me to put healthy food on my table and heartfelt paintings onto canvases and panels 😊

This week’s gift is an archival and signed 5×7 inch print of Fly. Don’t forget to put KMBWEEKLY in the promo code box at checkout, so that you get yours with orders of $39+.
