I hope you are having a nice week!

I bet you say “I love you” to your kiddo(s), a lot. Or maybe you don’t. We were all raised differently, some of us were raised to share affection, and some… not so much. Some of us were taught to tell with words, or show with touch, smiles, & helpful actions. Some… not so much.

Words get worn out, overused and lose their power. What if we did more *showing* in place of some of the telling? What if we did more leaning over, reaching out, taking ahold, slowing down (and stopping)…?

What if we not only *said* “I love you”, but also set aside the iphone and looked into the eyes of our child (or our spouse), fully ready to listen and connect?

That’s it. That’s my gem for today ~ I always have trouble getting perfectly placed puzzle pieces in my head to come out in some recognizable order. But at least they come out. And if I can inspire ONE mother to become fully open to her child’s attention, today, even for a few moments, then I’m happy.
