glass ball ornament

glass ball ornament

A friend gave me the idea to create handmade glass ball ornaments ~ by coating the insides of the balls with swirly paint. An instantly easy and do-able project, I shot to the craft store over the weekend and picked up some glass balls ($5 for 12), some acrylic paint in bottles (2 for a buck!) and we rocked these cool balls the next day 🙂

Our intention was to create one each: myself and my two sons. But we very quickly realized they were too addicting to stop at just one. So completely fun and easy, we each made three, and brought our supplies to a crafting play-date the next day to share the project with 7 other kiddos.

Here is the one I created for my mama (prettier in real life), and I purposely left the “windows” in the paint, because I like peeking in and seeing the interior swirls of paint.

Here are more details on how to make these

Needin’ something to do with the kids over the next couple days to keep the excitement and anticipation of Christmas under control? Try these, they are super fun.

Enjoy!
Love & Sincerely, Katie
